Van-Anh 

Fresh off hitting the no.1 spot on the Itunes Classical charts twice with her last two releases, Universal Music artist Van Anh is definitely one to watch in 2020.   With the release of her first single "Billie Jean" off the Classical Crossover album Crossfire, Van-Anh became a worldwide sensation and a sought after artist at events in Australia and across the globe.  Performing either solo (with backing production), with Cello (and backing production), or with a full live band, her show features her own Classical arrangements of modern day pop songs from artists such as Michael Jackson, Swedish House Mafia, Beyonce, and Adele.  Depending on the event, Van-Anh can also perform a traditional Classical recital or a mix of both.  

 

Combining beauty and talent in an unforgettable electrifying concert experience, Australian born concert pianist, composer and TV host, Van-Anh Nguyen maintains an intense global touring schedule, having performed across the USA, throughout Europe and Asia as well as on her home turf, Australia. Born to Vietnamese refugee musicians and having started piano studies at the tender age of 13 months old, Van-Anh’s pianism and personality makes her unique and versatile in both classical and classical crossover genres.

 

Having won several prizes nationally and internationally, her bubbly personality and emotive playing has graced the stages of Australia including the Sydney Opera House, City Recital Hall, Riverside Theaters and at such events as the Mostly Mozart Series, World Youth Day, the Chinese Chamber Music Festival, AFCM. She regularly guests with the Ho Chi Minh City Symphony Orchestra (HCMC, Vietnam) and Vietnamese American Philharmonic Orchestra (California, USA). 

 

Van-Anh currently has 5 albums released on all major digital music outlets. 

She is the newest addition as TV host to the Discovery Channel Asia team.
