She placed fourth in the Annual Billy Hyde Playoff in 2008, and was the drummer in the Sydney Conservatorium Big Band in 2012.

Lauren has worked commercially in TV ads and more recently on the X Factor. She works as a music teacher on Sydney’s North Shore, both privately and in schools, as well as playing in musicals, school productions and HSC performances. She also judges band competitions and runs band workshops in schools.
