KINETIC METHOD is the musical sounds of Sydney-based musicians Luke Koteras

and Byron Mark. Guitar, Keyboards, Percussion, Vocals & Effects; all performed live

simultaneously by only 2 people. Luke Koteras and Byron Mark are a unique

combination, creating music in an electro-acoustic style that captivates their

audiences, taking you on a journey from Tommy Emmanuel to Daft Punk. You won’t

see this everyday. 2014 saw Luke Koteras as a strong contender on ‘The Voice’ TV Series, competing on team Joel. Luke, well-known for his virtuosic acoustic guitar playing, brings a solid vocal talent, together with an array of dazzling effects, to the Kinetic Method sound. Byron ads musical flavours with his keyboard work, and establishes a solid groove with his

unique percussion station; fusing African, Flamenco and Latin rhythms. With the

multi-tasking abilities of both members, Kinetic Method creates a large wall of sound

for just two people. Together, they perform in an electro-acoustic style that

encapsulates elements of funk, dance, R&B and jazz. Aside festival performances, the Kinetic Method boys enjoy performing their Sydney based residencies at various venues including the Opera Bar, and have performed at many festivals in Australia, including Kiama Jazz Festival, Manly Jazz Festival, Manly Food & Wine Festival, and Sydney Festival in Hyde Park. Overseas highlights include USA Tour 2011, China, Thailand, and the UK. They also collaborate and write music with numerous other artists in Sydney.
