When Yatesy bought his first set of turntables he never imagined it would have been such a ride & taken him to where he is now. Since his first gig at Home Nightclub some 5+ years ago he has gone on to play work his magic behind the decks at the likes of The IVY, Hugos, SoHo, Sounds on Sunday, Kink, The Shore Club, The Surf Rock & New Brighton Hotel just to name a few… He has also played such parties as The ARIA Music Xmas Party, XXXX Summer Bright Parties and Slam Volleyball Party at Manly Beach, among many others.

Yatesy has also been lucky enough to play back to back sets with Ben Morris & Venuto (Love, MOS), John Glover (GloveCats), Matt Nukewood (ITM # 8 Aust Wide)… Also with supports for Yuksek (France), Carlos Gibbs (DHP, San Fran), Bang Gang DJ’s, Ajax, Carl Kennedy (Pacha), Tommy Trash (MOS) & The Stafford Brothers.

His tunes can consist of bassy driving house, through to energetic banging electro, including some chart toppers… keeping all music lovers happy on the dance floor… But can just as easily wind it back to some funk, hip hop & old school. It all depends on the venue, set time & crowd he is playing to, but Yatesy always delivers a set to be talked about.
