After self-teaching the art of mixing in his final year of high school (2011), and playing his own year 12 disco amongst a bunch of parties, Guy Steinbeck (DJ K9) decided to launch himself head-first into DJing the following year. Since then, he has played thousands of bookings from house parties to functions to nightclubs. 

In 2017, Guy launched Down To Scratch DJs, providing access to the highest possible standard of wedding entertainment for prospective couples wanting the best for their big day. Since this time, DTS DJs has become one of the go-to agencies for bookings throughout Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

K9 has graced crowds at various music festivals amongst international names, as well as at overseas locations including Japan and Fiji. Despite these bragging rights, his favourite place to be behind the decks is anywhere with a keen crowd who love music. 

R&B/Hip-Hop are his jam, as well as any variation of Classics and Throwbacks, but the K9 is always keen for a curveball, so feel free to test his skills...
