Duan & Only, a Sydney based solo artist is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter who is making a highly anticipated debut into the Sydney entertainment scene.

 

Originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand) his career began in 2004 when he caught the eye of two local Musicians, Dave Ritchie Smith and Anand Rose (Founders of Singer Songwriters New Plymouth). With the help of a good friend Shaun MacLean they went on to record an EP. After the recordings he moved to the UK where music took a backseat.

 

In 2009 D&O made the move to Australia and decided to concentrate on music. Since being here he has created his own unique style with raw performances maintaining audience interaction and silky vocals. Thanks to his RC-30 Loop Station D&O is able to record in real time creating guitar, percussive and vocal layers in live performances which allow him to play an eclectic mix of Acoustic, Soul, Reggae, Dub and Roots music.
